Job summary

Langham Hall Group is seeking a Group IT Manager to lead the global governance, delivery and optimisation of IT platforms. In a cloud-first, Azure-led environment, you will standardise technologies, drive security and resilience, and ensure a seamless digital workplace across regions.

The role demands senior leadership, strong stakeholder management and hands-on guidance across Azure, Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365. Hybrid/remote options are available within Europe time zones.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years’ IT experience with leadership responsibilities.
Experience in regulated environments with audit, risk, and compliance requirements.
Strong governance, vendor management, and global delivery capabilities.

Responsibilities

Own and govern the global Azure environment ensuring performance, security and cost optimisation.
Lead Azure Virtual Desktop globally including architecture, standards, scaling, and user experience.
Define and enforce standards across Microsoft 365 and core cloud platforms.
Act as escalation point for critical platform issues, ensuring stability and availability.
Drive automation, standardisation, monitoring and continuous service improvement.
Own IT services across all global offices ensuring a consistent digital workplace experience.
Define standards for collaboration tools and meeting room technologies.
Own global endpoint management and device lifecycle standards.
Own Entra ID operations including identity governance and MFA/Zero Trust principles.
Lead security controls across IT platforms and support audits and risk assessments.
