Job summary

Dotdigital in London is seeking an engineering-led leader to own the global Corporate IT estate (Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, telephony, identity and endpoints) and to build and grow a high-calibre team. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic leadership across continents.

The senior leader will oversee a multi-million-pound budget, drive automation, and deliver modernization projects while working with InfoSec and procurement. Hybrid work with strong autonomy is offered.

Qualifications

• Fluent in managing Microsoft 365, Azure, networking and endpoint management across Windows and macOS.
• Demonstrated senior leadership experience in Corporate IT with multi-site or international scope.
• Proven automation mindset to replace manual work with tooling and scripts.
• Experience budgeting multi-million-pound IT estates and negotiating with vendors.
• Ability to discuss strategy at leadership meetings and defend technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Own the Microsoft 365, networking and endpoint estate worldwide.
• Recruit, mentor and retain a team across two continents.
• Set direction and defend it with technical detail.
• Automate the estate using PowerShell, Graph API, Intune and tooling.
• Lead major IT projects including service transitions and DR.
