Job summary

V2X is seeking a Computer User Support Specialist to join the Ascension Island Service Desk team in a fast-paced, on-site IT support environment. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, assist with Active Directory accounts, and ensure high levels of customer service for DoD operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of enterprise or military IT support experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of technical support experience in enterprise or military environments.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Secret Clearance required; DoD 8570 compliance if elevated privileges are required.
• CompTIA A+, Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to computer users.
• Resolve hardware, software, and network issues for clients in person, by phone, or electronically.
• Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop and laptop computers and peripherals.
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts in Active Directory and other access tools.
• Maintain IT service desk tickets and provide regular status updates to leadership.
