Capital Group seeks an experienced IRO Specialist within the GRM Investment Risk Oversight team to provide independent risk oversight across Europe and Asia portfolios, including long-only UCITS and active ETFs. This role supports senior management and governance groups as well as fiduciary and client requests.

You will access investment management systems for risk oversight, engage in global risk initiatives, and collaborate across groups to ensure timely risk reporting and escalation.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of investment risk concepts including market, liquidity, credit and counterparty risk.
• Experience managing risk in an asset management context.
• Ability to resolve moderate to high-risk issues independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to plan processes and collaborate to meet deadlines.
• Awareness of confidentiality and integrity in risk management.

Responsabilités

• Oversee ongoing and periodic risk monitoring with access to investment systems.
• Lead/co-ordinate risk reporting for regulators and internal groups.
• Handle client-related risk management requests and inquiries.
• Understand, maintain, and implement the Risk Policy.
• Develop risk reporting for senior management and boards.
• Support global risk management initiatives and cross-border projects.
