Job summary

Capital Group in London is seeking an experienced IRO Specialist to join the GRM Investment Risk Oversight team. You will be responsible for independent risk oversight across Europe and Asia portfolios, with exposure to long-only UCITS and ETFs, supporting boards, governance groups and clients.

The role requires 8+ years in risk management, a quantitative degree, and strong written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in risk management and/or risk reporting.
• Bachelor in quantitative subject such as Economics, Finance, or Statistics is preferable.
• Strong ability to communicate with senior leadership and Boards.
• Knowledge of investment risk concepts and risk frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing risk monitoring and limit compliance across portfolios.
• Lead risk reporting for regulators and client demands.
• Maintain and execute the Risk Policy.
• Develop risk reports for senior management and risk committees.
• Support global risk management initiatives.
