About the role About the Role

As the Global Inventory Process Manager , you’ll lead the charge in building a global Inventory & Analytics community, driving continuous improvement, and embedding best-in-class standards across our supply chain. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Capability Leads and Finance Supply Chain , to align inventory performance with service, cost, and cash targets.

This position is based in London, United Kingdom and reports to the Supply Chain Planning CoE Lead, within Planning & Digital Excellence (Global) organization . The Global Inventory Process Manager is a unique opportunity to step into a newly created leadership role within our Supply Chain Planning Centre of Excellence ( CoE) — a team at the forefront of innovation, transformation, and digital enablement.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management Fundamentals

  • Lead the PMO driving the global inventory agenda.

  • Recommend inventory targets aligned to Business Units (BU) and disciplines based on Haleon and Q uality and S upply C hain initiatives.

  • Ensure inventory fundamentals are in place and performing at target.

  • Provide step-by-step guidance to overcome barriers to inventory reduction.

  • Own and audit Inventory Management Guidelines and maturity assessments on a regular basis.

  • Set the blueprint and playbook for inventory management process and calculation methods to ensure 100% compliance by the planning organisations.

  • Regularly review and update inventory processes and documentation.

  • Drive breakthrough initiatives in collaboration with Planning organization and manufacturing s ites.

  • Design best practices and capabilities to effect change at an operational level in collaboration with regional planning continuous improvement teams, E2E Planner/ SC Architect (for supply network related projects) and the manufacturing s ites and their materials planners to include RPM Inventory related improvements.

  • Redesign processes for agility and innovation, balancing short- and long-term goals.

  • Oversee inventory-related master data accuracy while owning the continuous development of use cases to meet business and Supply Chain needs with Technology and Digital groups, Planning organization and Data science hub.

  • Develop use cases to evolve systems and processes with Tech, Planning, and Data Science teams.

Talent Development

  • Enable talent development and lead change management for inventory transformation.

  • Drive implementation of certified E2E planning capability programs with CoE leads.

  • Maintain onboarding and training plans for new and transitioning Planning team members.

Qualifications and skills

  • A minimum bachelor's degree in business or engineering, along with a certification in supply chain management, is preferred.

  • 10 years of experience in managing planning and inventory practices successfully .

  • Analytical skills and proficiency in leveraging data to drive supply chain planning service improvements.

  • Influence skills with p roven ability to lead, motivate teams , and manage relationships across various business functions while fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Mastery in inventory planning, control, and process diagnosis to recover waste and improve efficiency.

  • Ability to establish innovative knowledge-sharing practices and enhance knowledge hubs.
