Job summary

Chaucer Underwriting Services Limited seeks a Delegated Authority Underwriter specializing in International General Liability. You will support the production of profitable business while managing relationships with clients and brokers.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience in the Lloyd's insurance environment and knowledge of Casualty International Liability. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Delegated Authority Underwriting background with a minimum of 5 years in Lloyd's insurance.
• Desirable experience in Casualty International Liability Insurance or related fields.
• Comfortable with in-house underwriting management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Intl GL in underwriting a profitable book.
• Monitor and oversee Delegated Authority business.
• Develop business plan and input into forecasting processes.
• Seek new business opportunities through broker relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Lloyd’s and CIC regulations.

Skills

MS Office (including Excel & Word)

Relevant insurance platform experience (PPL & Whitespace)

Education

ACII qualified or working towards associateship
