Chaucer Underwriting Services Limited seeks a Delegated Authority Underwriter specializing in International General Liability. You will support the production of profitable business while managing relationships with clients and brokers.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience in the Lloyd's insurance environment and knowledge of Casualty International Liability. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.
To underwrite and manage a profitable International General Liability book.
Main duties include supporting the Head of Intl GL in writing a profitable book focused on Delegated Authority business, taking responsibility for part of the International General Liability class of business with monitoring and oversight, supporting the production of a business plan for review, input into monthly and quarterly forecasting, underwrite in accordance with underwriting authority and the business plan, seeking new business opportunities, reviewing new and renewal risks, slip analyses, rating/benchmark analyses, and undertaking premium monitoring.
Delegated Authority Underwriting background, minimum of 5 years working within the Lloyds insurance environment, and desirable relevant experience in Casualty International Liability Insurance or related classes with knowledge of the London and Lloyd’s markets.
Desirable ACII qualified or working towards achieving associateship.
