Job summary

Smiths Detection is seeking an Internal Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team in Hemel Hempstead. You will craft engaging content across email, intranet, social channels and video, guiding strategy and employee engagement during a period of transformation.

With 2–4 years' experience, you will support leaders, manage multiple priorities and collaborate with global stakeholders to simplify complex messages and drive a connected employee experience.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, Content Creation or a similar role.
• Strong copywriting, editing and storytelling skills.
• Experience creating content across a range of digital communication channels.
• Experience coordinating events, campaigns or employee engagement activities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver communications and engagement activities that connect employees across our global business.
• Create clear, engaging communications across email, intranet, internal social media and video.
• Support launch and promotion of business strategy, values and initiatives.
• Transform complex information into simple, engaging messages tailored to different audiences.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities across virtual, hybrid and in-person environments.
• Support leadership, HR, Finance, IT and other functions with internal communication needs.
• Manage communications projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with external agencies and creatives to develop materials.
• Support change and transformation communications and monitor engagement metrics.
