Job summary

Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer is seeking an experienced internal communications leader to craft and execute global strategies that support the firm’s Ambition. You will partner with senior teams to shape communications for strategic initiatives, including digital transformation and the AI agenda across the merged firm.

Working closely with the Head of Internal Communications, Strategic Initiatives & Channels, and the Director of Corporate Communications, you will drive People & Culture

Qualifications

• First-rate writing, editing and oral-communication skills.
• Ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels within the firm.
• Outstanding influencing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Exceptional judgment, discretion, responsiveness and initiative.
• Ability to think strategically and visualise the 'bigger picture'.
• Ability to translate the firm's business strategy into accessible language.

Responsibilities

• Devise and implement internal communications strategies that support the Ambition strategy.
• Develop, manage and implement global internal communications for strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Head of Internal Communications, Strategic Initiatives & Channels, and Directors.
• Work on Digital Transformation and AI/digitalisation strategy communications.
• Support integration work and align systems, processes and ways of working.
• Contribute to People & Culture initiatives and engagement campaigns.
• Provide specialist advice on internal communications and use data to test effectiveness.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with external suppliers as required.
