Job summary

Hewett Recruitment is seeking a Financial Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) for a 3-month temporary contract. This role offers remote with hybrid options and a competitive hourly rate of £28.20–£30.77, start ASAP.

You will own financial reporting across multiple legal entities, deliver month-end close, prepare journals and reconciliations, manage intercompany transactions and support group reporting. Ideal for a qualified accountant ready to contribute in a global finance function.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified.
• Strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Experience managing complete legal entities.
• Knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations and statutory reporting.
• Experience in multi-entity or international environments preferred.
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills (SAP advantageous).
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for multiple legal entities
• Deliver month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journals, accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage intercompany transactions and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Prepare management and Group reporting submissions
• Support statutory accounts, audits, tax reporting and compliance
• Maintain strong financial controls and identify process improvements
