Job summary

Hewett Recruitment is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) for a 3-month temporary contract. You will manage accounting for multiple entities, oversee month-end close, intercompany activity and statutory reporting while supporting audits and tax compliance.

The role offers flexible remote/hybrid working and immediate start. Strong Excel and SAP skills are essential to drive accurate reporting across international entities.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Experience managing complete legal entities and multi-entity environments.
• Proficient in month-end close, reconciliations and statutory reporting; SAP advantageous.

Responsibilities

Financial Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Job Type: Temporary (3 Months)

Location: Remote / Hybrid

Rate: £28.20 - £30.77 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

We're seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join an international organisation on a 3-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who can quickly take ownership of financial reporting and accounting activities across multiple legal entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for multiple legal entities
• Deliver month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare journals, accruals, provisions and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage intercompany transactions and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Prepare management and Group reporting submissions
• Support statutory accounts, audits, tax reporting and compliance
• Maintain strong financial controls and identify process improvements

About You

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
• Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
• Experience managing complete legal entities
• Knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations and statutory reporting
• Experience in multi-entity or international environments preferred
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills (SAP advantageous)
• Able to work independently and hit the ground running
