Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an Application System Support Manager (SQL / Insurance Systems) to lead an international team delivering Insurance Software solutions across London Market, General Insurance and Health Insurance clients in the UK.

You will manage SLA delivery, issue resolution, client enhancements, release planning, reporting and invoicing while mentoring staff and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in insurance practices or insurance systems.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven SQL Server skills, including investigating issues, designing solutions, developing fixes, testing enhancements, and supporting deployments.
• Excellent organisational, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage SLA delivery and client expectations.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
• Desirable: experience with SDLC methodologies and ITIL practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead an international support team delivering Insurance Software solutions across London Market, General Insurance and Health Insurance clients.
• Manage SLA delivery, issue resolution, client enhancements, release planning, reporting and invoicing.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for SQL-related issues and deployments.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with development, QA and client teams to ensure service quality.
• Oversee staffing, utilisation, and performance management within the team.
• Act as escalation point for clients and internal teams and ensure adherence to processes.
