Job summary

Sixth Street Insurance in London seeks an Insurance Operations Program Manager to lead due diligence, portfolio management, and strategic initiatives across Europe and the U.S.

You will partner with investment professionals, portfolio leaders, and internal/external partners to drive performance improvements, manage budgets, and deliver on the Insurance Business Plan. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and hands-on execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years driving strategic operations and/or technology transformation in financial services (preferably insurance).
• 5+ years of program / project management experience.
• Experience driving outsourcing of operations and technology business functions including contract design and negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and deliver results in various business settings.
• Thorough understanding of evaluating ROI of operations and technology improvements.
• Deep experience in financial services operations, preferably life insurance, annuities and pensions in European/UK markets.

Responsibilities

• Work with portfolio companies to enhance operational, technology, and expense performance.
• Perform operational due diligence on deals / M&A transactions; assess synergies and inform bid pricing.
• Partner across teams to build-out and mature infrastructure to onboard and manage insurance LP investment mandates.
• Provide strategic advice on technology transformations, data migrations, and outsourcing strategies.
• Contribute to operating expense and budgeting planning including staffing level assessments.
• Provide operational risk oversight of portfolio companies and support risk assessments.
• Recommend and support strategies to improve operations, process management, and project portfolio management.
