Job summary

Global Infrastructure in Inverness is seeking a Civil Engineering Estimator or Senior Estimator to join its established commercial team. You will influence bids and project budgets across a range of civil works, with a focus on energy sector projects, delivering precise, competitive estimates to help projects stay on time and within budget.

You will analyse plans, liaise with project managers and engineers, assess materials, labour and production time, and prepare bid documents.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Civil Engineering Estimator or in a similar estimating role.
• In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
• Proficiency with estimation software and related tools.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly analyse project plans, specifications, and relevant documentation to prepare detailed, accurate cost estimates.

As a Civil Engineering Estimator, you will be integral to the planning and execution of a wide range of civil engineering projects, primarily within the energy sector. You will leverage your expertise to deliver precise, competitive cost estimates, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
