Trapeze Recruitment Services Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an Import Coordinator to manage the day-to-day activities of the Import team, ensuring on-time shipments and compliance with HMRC and Border Force.

You will report to the UK Manager, lead and mentor the Import Coordinator, build strong client relationships, and collaborate with other departments to deliver excellent customer service and drive efficiency across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs warehouse/import/export environments.
• Management inside an international trade setting.
• Knowledge of commodities sector and operational practices.
• Ability to collaborate across the company and externally.
• Professional, team-oriented and communicative.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Decisive, commercially minded with proactive action.
• Detail-oriented and flexible with hours.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day import team activities and supervise staff.
• Ensure on-time shipments, track progress and schedules.
• Manage profit & loss, invoicing, credit control and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and business requirements.
• Handle complaints and ensure swift resolution.
• Coordinate with other departments within the company and group.
