Responsibilities

• Implement underwriting strategy with class head, hull team and actuarial.
• Drive end-to-end process and data improvements, including data warehouse aspects.
• Represent Markel in broker and client meetings and travel as required.
• Apply underwriting controls and risk-management practices and referrals.
• Collaborate on portfolio management with senior underwriters.
