Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Technical Consultant - Data Migration to support a large HR transformation programme in the technology sector. This contract role offers flexible, global working and focuses on delivering accurate, high-quality data migration into target systems.

You will design and implement migration workflows, validate data, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions from SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HR and legacy systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in data migration projects.
• Strong SQL, data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience with ETL, workflow or data integration tools.
• Knowledge of data quality management, validation and reconciliation.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP HR systems would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of reporting tools like Power BI or Alteryx would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data migration workflows and automation solutions.
• Build and maintain data extraction, transformation, validation and reconciliation processes.
• Develop data cleansing reports and periodic Data Quality Reports (DQRs).
• Monitor data quality metrics, identify defects and support remediation activities.
• Support data extraction from SAP SuccessFactors, SAP, legacy HR systems and third-party applications.
• Validate data for completeness, accuracy and consistency across migration cycles.
• Support mock loads, testing, cutover activities and production migrations.
• Prepare technical documentation, validation evidence and reporting for business sign-off.
