Bupa Global is seeking a Global Case Manager to oversee complex medical cases across the member journey, delivering clinically appropriate and cost-effective outcomes. The role requires strong clinical knowledge, stakeholder management, and a commitment to exceptional member experiences while aligning with governance standards.

The position is full time, permanent, 40 hours per week, and hybrid in Brighton, with global collaboration across markets and time zones.

Formación

• Healthcare qualification and professional registration are required.
• Experience in case management, utilization management, healthcare administration or medical insurance.
• Strong medical terminology, clinical pathways and healthcare system understanding.
• Experience with private medical insurance or international healthcare.
• Experience managing high-cost or clinically complex cases.
• Experience coordinating medical evacuations and repatriations.
• Knowledge of international healthcare networks and providers.
• Proficiency in pre-authorization and medical necessity reviews.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; report writing and documentation.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking and decision-making abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage complex medical cases from admission through discharge and closure.
• Act as a role model for member-centric care with empathy and professionalism.
• Review records, treatment plans and policy eligibility for medical necessity.
• Liaise with treating providers, members, insurers, brokers and internal teams.
• Coordinate care, evacuations, repatriations, and discharge planning as needed.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations to support case decisions.
• Monitor progress, hospitalizations, and length of stay.
• Escalate complex issues to Medical Advisors and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate clinical, operational and financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
