Job summary

AutogenAI is seeking a Head of Engineering to own the technical strategy and engineering culture across London and the US. You will lead through 2–3 Tech Leads and be accountable for a team of ~15 developers, shaping delivery and quality in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

The role requires 8+ years in software engineering with senior leadership experience, and a strong TS/Python background. You will partner with Product, Design and People leadership to scale globally while maintaining high

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
Experience managing other engineering leaders (Tech Leads / EMs).
Experience leading global/distributed teams across countries/time zones.
Strong technical foundation in TS/Python stack; cloud infra and DevOps familiarity.
Proven track record in engineering operations & delivery in scaling SaaS.
Experience with Enterprise SaaS products; AI/NLP/LLMs beneficial.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve the technical strategy and engineering roadmap across regions.
Lead engineering operations, delivery processes, incident practices and reliability.
Directly manage 2–3 Tech Leads and develop a ~15-person engineering team.
Collaborate closely with product, design and People leadership at senior levels.
Foster a high-performance engineering culture with strong governance.
