Job summary

Join TUI as Head of Customer Data Science & AI to define and deliver the strategic direction for analytics, ML and AI across Marketing, Sales & Customers. You will identify high-value opportunities, build business cases and lead the deployment of AI solutions that enhance customer engagement and business performance.

You will champion responsible AI governance, work with senior leaders, and drive innovation with generative AI to deliver scalable business value across regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in Data Science/ML/AI, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle from strategy through deployment.
• Translate technical opportunities into meaningful commercial outcomes.
• Experience building/deploying data science models for CRM and digital personalisation in a scaled consumer business.
• Proven leadership skills to build high-performing teams and foster innovation.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the strategic vision, roadmap and direction for Data Science and AI across TUI's Marketing, Sales & Customers.
• Identify high-value opportunities for advanced analytics and AI with strong business cases.
• Lead development, deployment and optimisation of AI/ML solutions to boost customer engagement and business performance.
• Establish governance for responsible AI, regulatory compliance and alignment with TUI values.
• Champion innovation by exploring generative AI and other emerging technologies.
• Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the data science community.
