Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking a Group Accountant to join the Hatfield-based External Reporting team. You will report to the Group Head of External Reporting and help deliver high-quality financial reporting, technical accounting guidance and governance across the Group.

This role is suitable for a recently qualified accountant or someone with audit and industry experience seeking broader exposure. You will work closely with senior stakeholders in multiple countries on consolidations and

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Big Four or leading audit practice background is strongly preferred.
• Experience operating at Senior Associate or Assistant Manager level within audit, or equivalent experience combining audit and industry accounting.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive and adaptable approach with the ability to work across a varied workload.
• Experience working with international stakeholders would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and delivery of Group financial reporting and Board reporting activities.
• Assist with technical accounting assessments, accounting policy implementation and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Support Group consolidations and the accounting treatment of acquisitions, disposals and other complex transactions.
• Work closely with finance teams across multiple countries to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial information.
• Contribute to statutory reporting and compliance activities across the Group.
• Analyse and interpret financial data, providing insight and recommendations where appropriate.
• Support business initiatives and projects that impact Group reporting processes and controls.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Company Secretariat and wider business functions.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and efficiencies.
