Job summary

PA Consulting is seeking a Group Accountant to join the Group Accounting Team. You will deliver timely monthly group consolidation, raise journals, and review numbers to ensure accurate reporting. You will lead the close process and provide IFRS technical support across the finance function.

With strong consolidation experience and audit liaison skills, you will interact with auditors and manage UK and overseas statutory reporting. Hybrid working with in-office presence required.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/CA/ACCA or equivalent
• Strong IFRS knowledge and research skills
• Experience with multinational consolidation and group reporting
• Ability to navigate finance systems and lead close processes
• Excellent financial control and audit liaison skills
• Proactive, organised self-starter with deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• UK residency requirement for security clearance

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate monthly group consolidation
• Raise consolidation journals and review consolidated numbers
• Lead the close process to meet month-end timetable
• Provide technical accounting support across the finance function
• Prepare notes and support for the group annual report
• Coordinate with auditors and provide timely responses
• Learn and become lead user of Oracle, PeopleSoft, IRIS systems
• Oversee UK and overseas companies' month-end and statutory reporting
