Job summary

Zero Surplus seeks a Group Management Accountant with ownership of the group’s trading entities across multiple markets. You’ll ensure ledgers are accurate and provide business leaders with a clear view of drivers behind global operational performance.

This senior, hands-on role covers month-end across multiple entities and currencies, working with non-finance managers and stakeholders to explain numbers and support decision making.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with substantial practical experience in a comparable role
• Proven experience managing stock and inventory within a trading business
• Experience across multiple entities, markets and currencies, ideally in a global business
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with non-finance managers

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the group's trading entities across multiple markets and provide a clear view of drivers behind global operational performance
• Manage month-end across multiple entities and currencies
• Own reporting, budgeting and forecasting of Group Operational Costs and Overheads and present to CFO and directors
• Line manage the Management Accountant and liaise with external audit and tax reviews
