Job summary

MCS Group are delighted to partner with a global manufacturing organisation to recruit a Group Financial Accountant to join their growing finance function in North Down.

The role offers £45,000 - £55,000 base salary with a 5% annual bonus and flexible/hybrid working options (3 days office based). Senior stakeholder exposure across the wider Group is also a key feature of this role.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent.
• Relevant industry experience.
• Strong stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee weekly cash flow reporting, forecasting, variance analysis and liquidity reporting.
• Oversee foreign exchange hedging activities across the group.
• Support the Group taxation strategy, including Patent Box, RDEC and transfer pricing.
• Prepare cash flow and balance sheet budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting.
• Preparation and management of KPI dashboard.

Group Financial Accountant - North Down

MCS Group are delighted to be partnering with a global manufacturing organisation to recruit a Group Financial Accountant to join their growing finance function.

The Company:

Our client is an established, international manufacturing and distribution organisation with a significant global workforce, multiple operational sites, and a strong commercial presence across numerous international markets worldwide.

As part of the continued development of their Group Finance function, they are seeking an experienced Group Financial Accountant to take responsibility for key Treasury and Tax activities while supporting financial planning, performance analysis, reporting, and governance across the wider Group.

The Rewards:

As the successful Group Financial Accountant, you will receive:

• £45,000 - £55,000 base salary and extensive benefits package;
• Annual Bonus (5%);

The Role:

As the successful Group Financial Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for:

• Oversee weekly cash flow reporting, forecasting, variance analysis and liquidity reporting;
• Oversee foreign exchange hedging activities across the group;
• Support the Group taxation strategy, including Patent Box, RDEC and transfer pricing;
• Prepare cash flow and balance sheet budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting;

The Person:
