Job summary

Datacareers is seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager on a 3-month contract to lead the year-end accounting and external audit for a large international software business. The role focuses on consolidating statutory accounts across UK, North America and APAC, taking ownership of the audit process and ensuring timely submission of financial statements.

The ideal candidate is a fully qualified ACA/ACCA with strong IFRS knowledge (including IFRS 15) and a proven track record in software/SaaS

Qualifications

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with senior level experience.
Strong experience leading or project managing Group external audits.
Experience consolidating statutory accounts for an international group.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of the year-end financial accounts project through to completion and submission.
Lead and coordinate the Group external audit process.
Consolidate statutory accounts across UK, North American and APAC entities.
Prepare and review consolidated Group and UK subsidiary statutory accounts.
Support year-end adjustments, disclosures and audit deliverables.
Coordinate input from finance, tax and overseas subsidiary teams.
Work closely with the wider Group Finance team to resolve audit queries and ensure deadlines are met.
