Job summary

VSL International, part of Bouygues Construction Group, seeks an experienced Business Development & Tendering Manager – Ground Engineering to lead international BD and tendering across Europe and the Americas. The role reports to the Global Operations Manager for Foundations and focuses on intra-group opportunities while developing external client relations.

The position can be based in London or Guyancourt, France, with frequent international travel.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and French is required at senior level.
• Degree/Master in Civil Engineering; chartered status advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in ground engineering or major civil projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement international BD and commercial strategies.
• Lead end-to-end tendering for complex ground engineering projects.
• Form and nurture relationships with clients, partners and contractors.
• Coordinate with technical, estimating, commercial and legal inputs for proposals.
• Oversee value engineering and competitive cost estimates.
