Job summary

Bouygues Construction Group, via VSL UK, seeks graduates and early-career engineers to join our site teams across major civil engineering projects in the United Kingdom. You will work with experienced engineers to support setting out, site planning, and quality assurance on ground engineering and preservation initiatives.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree (or equivalent) and are eager to develop technical knowledge, with strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as Site Engineer or similar construction role.
• Experience in civil infrastructure or ground engineering is advantageous.
• Graduate and more experienced candidates considered depending on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Setting out works per drawings and specifications.
• Planning and coordination of site activities.
• Monitoring progress against project programmes.
• Undertaking site inspections and quality checks.
• Maintaining site records and engineering documentation.
• Supporting the implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Liaising with subcontractors, supervisors and project team.
• Ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
