VSL International, part of the Bouygues Construction Group, seeks an Operations Director to lead its UK geotechnical and foundations activities. You will oversee strategic delivery across multiple complex projects, ensuring safety, quality and profitability while advancing technical capabilities.

The role requires extensive senior leadership experience in deep foundations and ground engineering, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across the UK.

Competenze

• Extensive senior operational leadership in specialist foundations, geotechnical engineering or ground engineering.
• Experience delivering complex deep foundation and ground engineering works on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong financial and commercial management capabilities, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with joint ventures or international construction organisations is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across VSL's UK geotechnical and specialist foundations portfolio.
• Oversee delivery of multiple complex projects, ensuring safety, quality, programme and financial targets.
• Lead and mentor Project Directors, Project Managers and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop delivery strategies, methodologies and performance management frameworks.
• Monitor performance, productivity and resource use, implementing corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure client satisfaction and profitability.
