Miryco Consultants Ltd is seeking a Director to lead and develop its General Insurance M&A offering in London. You will operate at senior levels to originate opportunities and advise insurers and investors across the GI market.

This high-profile role requires a proven track record in General Insurance M&A, extensive industry networks, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams and engagements from origination to completion.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in General Insurance M&A.
• Extensive network across the GI M&A market.
• Experience in leading complex transactions and advising insurers, investors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and growth of the General Insurance M&A offering.
• Originate and develop new M&A opportunities through an established GI market network.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with insurers, reinsurers, investors, private equity and other stakeholders.
• Lead the execution of complex M&A and strategic transactions from origination through to completion.
• Advise clients on acquisitions, disposals, mergers and strategic investments.
• Provide strategic and commercial insight across the General Insurance market.
• Develop and lead high-performing teams across transaction and advisory engagements.
• Work closely with senior leadership to develop the firm's wider insurance strategy and market proposition.
• Represent the business externally and build its profile within the GI M&A community.
• Identify emerging market trends, opportunities and potential new areas for growth.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level professionals within the wider team.
