The role emphasizes reviewing specifications, allergen data, labeling, and chasing documentation while maintaining clear records and strong supplier communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in food QA/Technical roles, food manufacturing, or retail technical environments.
• Strong understanding of food technical documentation, product specifications and labeling.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple product approvals simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage the QA and technical approval process for products supplied to overseas retailers.
• Liaise with customer QA/Technical teams to obtain required information.
• Coordinate product specifications, questionnaires and supporting documentation.
• Review ingredients, allergens, nutritional information, labeling and shelf life.
• Work with UK manufacturers/suppliers to obtain technical information.
• Respond to and resolve technical queries from customers and partners.
• Track product approvals and ensure smooth progression through pipelines.
• Maintain accurate technical records, databases and product approval trackers.
• Support international product registrations and market launches.
• Identify potential regulatory or technical issues early.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Shipping and Operations to keep projects moving.
• Help develop and improve QA processes and systems.
