Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in the UK is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to lead financial management for Enterprise Infrastructure within the CTO/COO function. You will manage the cost base, provide strategic financial insights, and partner with senior technology and finance leaders.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, experience across multi-country finance, and the ability to influence cost ownership while driving governance and accountability across regions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Finance business partnering experience in a complex, multi-currency organisation.
• Experience managing financials across multiple countries – including accrual, allocation and chargeback processes.
• Independent and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial management activities for Enterprise Infrastructure – expenses and internal charges.
• Advise MDs/Directors on financial decisions, risks and trade-offs.
• Drive delivery of cost targets and optimisation commitments.
• Establish and oversee financial governance, controls and asset accounting (FAR, WIP, amortisation).
• Influence cost ownership across countries and business areas.
• Collaborate with Managing Director/Executive Committee, COO, CTO CFO, Local Financial Controllers / Operations, Cost Management and Procurement.
