Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to lead financial management and commercial insight across Enterprise Infrastructure. You will partner with senior technology and finance leaders, overseeing a large cost base and influencing strategic decisions amid technology transformation.

You will establish financial governance, manage asset registers and WIP, and work with cross-country teams across currencies.

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant
Finance business partnering experience in a complex, matrixed, multi-currency organisation
Understanding of accounting policies, audit requirements and governance
Experience managing financials across multiple countries – including robust accrual, allocation and chargeback processes.
Comfortable working independently and proactively to solve problems.

Responsibilities

Lead financial management activities for Enterprise Infrastructure – expenses and internal charges.
Advise managing directors/directors on financial decisions, risks and trade-offs.
Drive delivery of cost targets and optimisation commitments.
Establish and oversee financial governance, controls and accountability (Fixed Asset Register, WIP, asset amortisation).
Influence cost ownership across countries and business areas.
Collaborate with stakeholders including MD/ExCo, COO, CTO CFO, Local Financial Controllers/Operations, Cost Management and Procurement.
