HSBC Holdings plc is recruiting a Financial Operations Manager to lead Enterprise Infrastructure financial management and provide strategic financial insight across multiple countries within the CTO/ COO environment.

The role reports to the Head of Financial Management for CTO and influences major decisions during a period of technology infrastructure transformation. London/UK-based, with a comprehensive pay and benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Finance business partnering experience in a complex, matrixed, multi-currency organisation.
• Understanding of accounting policies, audit requirements and governance.
• Experience managing financials across multiple countries with accrual, allocation and chargeback.
• Comfortable working independently and proactively to solve problems.

We are currently seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager.

The Financial Operations Manager is a key leadership role within HSBC’s Chief Technology Office (CTO) Chief Operating Office (COO) team, with end-to-end accountability for financial management and commercial insight across the Enterprise Infrastructure area. The role reports to the Head of Financial Management for CTO and oversees an annual cost base of more than $1 billion USD across approximately 18 countries and provides strategic financial advice to senior technology and finance leaders. The role has a direct influence on major, strategic decisions, at a time of elevated technology infrastructure transformation at HSBC.

In This Role You Will

• Lead all financial management activities for Enterprise Infrastructure – across both expenses and internal customer charges:
• Advise managing directors / directors on financial decisions, risks and trade-offs
• Drive delivery of cost targets and optimisation commitments
• Establish and oversee financial governance, controls and accountability, including management of the Fixed Asset Register, WIP and amortisation of assets
• Influence cost ownership across countries and business areas
• Collaborate and engage with a range of stakeholders – Managing Director and Executive Committee, COO, CTO CFO, Local Financial Controllers / Operations, Cost Management and Procurement amongst others

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Finance business partnering (or similar) experience in a complex, matrixed, multi-currency organisation
• Understanding of accounting policies, audit requirements and governance
• Experience managing financials across multiple countries – including robust accrual, allocation and chargeback processes
• Comfortable working independently and proactively to solve problems
