BLAST, a global leader in live and digital entertainment, seeks a Group Financial Controller to lead technical accounting, group reporting, and tax governance across its international operations. You will oversee AP/AR, drive ERP initiatives, and partner with FP&A to ensure accurate, compliant financial information.

You will manage a high-calibre finance team, uphold strong internal controls, and guide the group through IFRS readiness and strategic growth while maintaining rigorous statutory

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
• Significant experience in Group Financial Control or technical accounting within international multi-entity organisations.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and experience with policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Own the Group's technical accounting policies, standards and complex judgments.
• Lead Group consolidation and month-, quarter- and year-end financial reporting across entities.
• Oversee tax governance across jurisdictions, including corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing.
• Manage the Group Financial Control function and balance sheet governance.
• Lead statutory reporting and external audits with auditors and advisers.
• Support IFRS readiness and accounting policy improvements.
• Provide accounting and tax support for international growth and transactions.
