Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is seeking a Senior Global Finance Manager to deliver key accounting advice and implement major group initiatives, from fundraising to new geographies. You will work closely with our Group Corporate Finance Director on high-impact projects in a fast-growing global business.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with hands-on experience delivering accounting workstreams on strategic initiatives.
• Experience in fast-paced, global organisations.
• Ability to lead on due diligence and intercompany accounting in M&A.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting, financial advice and support for key strategic projects, including debt facilities, contracts, intercompany activity and M&A.
• Provide technical accounting advice to the group and business units within the audit process.
• Ensure implementation of accounting excellence across the group across new developments and initiatives.
• Lead on accounting for due diligence on M&A activities.
• Collaborate with treasury, capital markets, legal and tax teams on project implementations.
• Work with Group Reporting and auditors to ensure new projects are accurately disclosed in financial statements.
• Engage with external advisors to support key projects and specific advice.
