Job summary

Matchtech requires a Group Financial Controller to join a specialist organisation in Poole, Dorset. You will lead group reporting, consolidation and financial controls within a standalone entity, reporting to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include overseeing audits, treasury, taxation and risk management, plus driving improvements across ERP systems and reporting processes. The role demands strong ACA/ACCA/CPA credentials and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CPA or equivalent.
• Experience in group financial reporting, consolidation and controls.
• Knowledge of treasury, cash flow and tax processes.
• Experience leading finance teams and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial statements.
• Oversee the consolidation of global results, including intercompany eliminations.
• Ensure IFRS/GAAP compliance and maintain robust financial controls.
• Manage external audits and relationships with auditors and regulators.
• Oversee global cash management, liquidity planning and working capital.
• Lead FX risk management, taxation compliance and transfer pricing.
• Drive ERP improvements and automation across reporting processes.
• Mentor and develop a global finance team and partner with senior leadership.
