Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace organisation for a Finance Manager to join the permanent finance team in the UK. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, you will support accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls and business partnering across the organisation.

You will lead treasury activities, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes, while managing supplier onboarding through SAP Ariba and supporting audits and statutory submissions.

Qualifications

• ACCA or CIMA qualification required.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in financial reporting, treasury management, balance sheet reconciliations and audit support.
• Experience with SAP is advantageous; advanced Excel skills highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage treasury activities, including daily bank reviews and regular bank reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, commentary and intercompany reconciliations.
• Support month-end reporting and other financial deliverables for the UK Financial Controller.
• Oversee vendor management activities, including SAP Ariba onboarding and validation of suppliers.
• Manage monthly and ad-hoc recharges for salaries, expenses and other costs.
• Support internal and external audits, including closing audit findings.
• Assist with statutory tax submissions and other financial returns.
• Prepare finance sections of operational performance reporting for Executive Board review.
