De Beers Group is seeking a Financial Controller (Financial Accounting) to lead statutory reporting and group consolidation across multiple entities. You will partner with Group Tax, Operations and Legal to ensure timely, accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

The role requires an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified professional with at least 7+ years post-qualification, excellent Excel modelling, and experience with HFM, SAP or Onestream. Strong English communication is essential.

Formación

• Qualified Accountant with 7+ years post-qualification experience
• Experience leading statutory reporting and audits
• Excellent spreadsheet and modelling abilities
• Strong managerial and coaching skills
• Fluent English
• Strong MS Office skills
• Solid accounting + technical reporting incl. IFRS16 & IAS36
• Retail/luxury sector experience is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Manage DB FM / IOD reporting process for the unit
• Prepare and complete month-end reporting for FMUK and IIDGR UK
• Review monthly actuals across eight DB FM / IOD markets loaded to HFM
• First point of contact for DB FM UK Accounts Technicians
• Consolidate DB FM / IOD results
• Prepare stat notes and group templates for FMUK & IIDGR UK
• Coordinate stat notes with Global DB FM / IOD
• Analyze monthly performance; provide variance explanations
• Review monthly DB FM reporting & consolidation incl. reconciliations
• Own statutory accounts preparation for FMUK and IIDGR UK
• Engage with Company Secretary’s team
• Liaise with auditors & other areas (Operations, Legal, Marketing)
• Train new international financial managers on group reporting
• Assist in ad hoc reporting and SAP management
• Monitor liquidity & treasury limits; discuss changes in advance
• Support tax packs and tax calculations with Group Tax
