Job summary

Baker Charles is recruiting a Financial Analyst to join its European finance team. This broad, hands-on role covers end-to-end finance activities including financial reporting, month-end close, balance sheet ownership, forecasting, controls and business partnering.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, with strong end-to-end finance experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong end-to-end finance experience.
• Excellent month-end close and financial reporting experience.
• Experience owning balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience.
• Exposure to statutory reporting and external audit.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Owning the month-end close and financial reporting process for an international entity.
• Managing the general ledger and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Owning balance sheet accounts, reconciliations and resolution of items.
• Preparing monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary.
• Preparing budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting.
• Supporting revenue recognition and complex contracts accounting.
• Submitting financial information into group consolidation and reporting systems.
• Supporting statutory accounts preparation, external audits and tax requirements.
• Maintaining and strengthening financial controls in line with policy.
• Supporting banking, payments, cash management and other operational finance activities.
• Partnering with stakeholders to provide financial insight for decision making.
• Managing multiple reporting deadlines and regional finance activities.
