Job summary

Baker Charles are partnering with a large, international PE-backed technology business to recruit a Financial Reporting Analyst in Central London. The role sits in the Group Finance team and offers exposure to consolidation, financial control and international reporting.

You will support monthly reporting, assist with year-end reporting, and work with SAP and Oracle ERP systems. The position is hybrid (3 days in the office) with a 60k–65k salary plus bonus and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in financial accounting, reporting, audit or Group Finance.
• Analytical, numerate and detail‑oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with IFRS and large ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) is advantageous.
• Ability to build relationships with Finance and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly Group consolidation including intercompany checks.
• Assist with half-year and year-end Group reporting.
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis for consolidated results.
• Support accounting activities across Group entities and holding company.
• Investigate financial queries and resolve reporting issues.
• Support Group financial controls and data accuracy.
• Assist with Group accounting processes and master data.
• Support finance systems changes to reporting processes.
• Work with SAP and Oracle-based consolidation systems.
• Develop process improvements within the Group Finance function.

Baker Charles are partnering with a large, international PE-backed technology business to recruit a Financial Reporting Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a high-calibre Group Finance team within a complex international organisation.

The role will provide broad exposure across Group financial reporting, consolidation, financial control and finance projects. You will initially provide hands-on support across the monthly reporting cycle and accounting activities of Group entities, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility for key areas of Group financial reporting as you progress.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the monthly Group consolidation process, including reconciliation, validation and intercompany mismatch checks
• Assist with half-year and year-end Group financial reporting
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis to support the review of consolidated and entity-level results
• Support accounting activities across Group entities, including the Group holding company
• Investigate financial queries and use analysis to identify and resolve reporting issues
• Support Group financial controls, balance sheet integrity and the accuracy of financial data
• Assist with Group accounting processes, policies and master data
• Support finance systems and business projects, including changes to reporting processes and systems
• Work with SAP and Oracle-based consolidation and reporting systems
• Support process improvement and the continued development of the Group Finance function
• Work closely with finance teams and stakeholders across an international organisation
• Take on increasing ownership of Group financial reporting activities as your experience develops

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience within financial accounting, financial reporting, audit or a Group Finance environment. You will be keen to develop broader experience within a complex international business.

You will be analytical, numerate and detail-oriented, with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work accurately to tight reporting deadlines. You will also be a proactive self-starter who is comfortable taking ownership of your work while continuing to learn and develop.

Previous exposure to financial consolidation, IFRS, SAP, Oracle or other large ERP and financial reporting systems would be advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across Finance and the wider business are also important.
