Job summary

Univar Europe Ltd. is seeking an Export Trade Coordinator based in Cadishead or Widnes to manage end-to-end export shipments of chemical products.

The role is hybrid with at least three days in an office and reports to the International Trade Services Manager. You will prepare and manage export documentation, liaise with freight forwarders, ensure compliance with customs and dangerous goods regulations, support audits under an AEO framework, and coordinate with EHS, Sales, and Production to meet

Qualifications

• Experience in an international trade department or freight forwarding.
• Degree or vocational qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade desirable.
• Able to work effectively with Sales, Account Management, Production and Operations teams.
• Confident in managing differing views and priorities across departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end export shipments of chemical products to international destinations.
• Prepare and manage all export documentation.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders for compliant shipment execution.
• Coordinate customs declarations and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Support audits within an AEO-certified framework and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure shipments meet Dangerous Goods requirements (ADR/IMDG/IATA/RID).
• Collaborate with EHS, Account Management, and Production to support customer requirements.
