Job summary

Infopro Digital is seeking an Events & Content Director for its Global Financial Markets Division. You will lead flagship events, plan and evaluate initiatives, and drive engagement across professional communities in finance and technology.

The role reports to the Global Head of Content and collaborates with multiple brand leads to deliver high-impact experiences. The role oversees 40+ events annually worldwide, with almost 20,000 attendees, and includes global learning products and co-location

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of commercial event production, event marketing, logistics and events sales.
• Experience launching and growing LSEs, awards, conferences, expos and various event formats worldwide.
• Proven track record of business management, sponsorship sales and analytical skills.
• Extensive experience launching and growing events globally.
• Extensive experience of managing and leading teams.
• Industry knowledge of financial markets (derivatives & capital markets, risk management), insurance, or financial technology is desirable but not essential.
• Previous relevant work experience in a conference or events research environment.
• Very strong attention to detail and effective time management.
• Ability to build business relationships at all levels, and to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the lifecycle of flagship EMEA events and networks portfolio, including planning, execution and evaluation.
• Own year-on-year revenue growth, yield, margin and delivery quality, in collaboration with senior leadership and marketing.
• Oversee speakers, partners and key commercial relationships to ensure high-level engagement and retention.
• Plan and manage production resources, including contingency planning and risk mitigation.
• Ensure consistent audience engagement across all platforms and formats (in-person and digital).
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams to align on events strategy and outcomes.
• Identify new event opportunities and formats to attract customers and engage clients.
• Mentor and develop events teams and production leads across the division.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets and profitability, and drive cost efficiencies where needed.
