Job summary

Destination Sport Group is a global leader in sports travel, delivering staffing and workforce planning for trips and events worldwide. The role involves forecasting staffing needs, coordinating a casual workforce, and ensuring cost-effective deployment while maintaining regulatory compliance and high service standards.

Working with operational teams, you will oversee onboarding, DBS and safeguarding checks, and build strong partnerships with agencies and internal stakeholders to support

Qualifications

• Proven experience in workforce planning, resource scheduling or logistics planning.
• Experience managing budgets and labour costs.
• Strong planning, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Experience working in travel, logistics, events or operational environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecast staffing requirements for trips, events and operational activity.
• Develop detailed staffing plans and cost models to support business performance.
• Source, onboard and manage staffing agencies and external workforce suppliers.
• Negotiate rates, terms and service agreements to maximise value and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with UK and international employment regulations, including Right to Work and agency worker legislation.
• Coordinate worker allocation based on experience, availability and operational requirements.
• Manage last-minute staffing changes and operational cover requirements.
• Build strong relationships with operational leaders, agencies and casual workers to deliver staffing excellence.
