Job summary

Intropic is seeking a business development lead for its Equity L/S business. You will own relationships with investment teams at hedge funds in the US and Europe and help grow Equity L/S into a global business. The role can be based in London or New York.

You will open doors, run the full sales cycle, and position Intropic where it adds value while building a global pipeline and feeding insights back to product and research.

Qualifications

• Established network across US and Europe hedge funds with PM and analyst relationships.
• Several years in a client-facing role serving hedge fund investment teams.
• Track record of opening new accounts and growing revenue or engagement.
• Solid understanding of how fundamental and multi-manager funds generate ideas and decisions.
• Self-starter capable of building a new business line with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Open doors at hedge funds in US and Europe, targeting PMs and analysts.
• Run full sales cycle: introductions, discovery, demos, trials, negotiations, close.
• Understand teams' investment process and position Intropic’s value.
• Build and manage a global pipeline with reporting on activity, conversion, revenue.
• Feed client insight to product and research to shape hedge fund roadmap.
• Represent Intropic at industry events, dinners and conferences.
• Help shape Equity L/S go-to-market and future team build-out.
