Job summary

Meritus Talent in the United Kingdom is recruiting an Engineering Project Manager to oversee bespoke systems integration projects in Aerospace, FMCG and related sectors. You will drive delivery from order through installation, coordinating engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams while maintaining excellent client relationships.

The role requires travel across the UK and internationally, a full UK driving licence, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing engineering, manufacturing or automation projects.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple projects.
• Good commercial awareness and budget management experience.
• Technical understanding of engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from order through to final acceptance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project life cycle.
• Coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Customer Support teams.
• Manage project schedules, documentation and customer review meetings.
• Monitor project delivery against agreed milestones and budgets.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), installation and commissioning activities.
• Provide regular customer updates and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally.
