Job summary

Meritus is recruiting an Engineering Project Manager to join a systems integration business delivering bespoke solutions for Aerospace, Engineering, FMCG and Agriculture. The role is customer-focused, based in Telford, Shropshire with international travel.

You will manage engineering projects from order receipt through to installation, commissioning and final acceptance, coordinating internal teams and ensuring successful delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial automation or capital equipment environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Experience managing engineering/manufacturing/automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from order to final acceptance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Customer Support teams.
• Manage project schedules, documentation and customer review meetings.
• Monitor project delivery against milestones and budgets.
• Support FAT, installation and commissioning activities.
• Provide regular customer updates and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally.
