Job summary

Smith+Nebhew is seeking a Global Category Manager, Employee Benefits, to lead strategy across healthcare, wellbeing, retirement and related Total Rewards services. You will partner with HR and senior stakeholders to balance employee experience with affordability and compliance, delivering sustainable value in a global context.

You will influence senior leaders, manage complex negotiations, and shape long-term category strategies that enhance employee experience while supporting business

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing Employee Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Services or related categories within a global proven track record of developing and executing category strategies that deliver measurable business value.
• Strong experience leading complex negotiations and managing strategic supplier relationships at regional or global scale.
• The ability to influence senior leaders, leverage market intelligence and use data driven insights to support business decisions and category development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Employee Benefits category strategy across healthcare, wellbeing, retirement, benefits administration, consulting and related Total Rewards services.
• Partner with HR, Total Rewards and key stakeholders to balance employee experience, affordability, compliance, risk, and long-term category value.
• Negotiate with suppliers, build strong partnerships, and use market insights to optimise programmes and drive transformation across a global matrix.
