Job summary

Alutiiq, LLC seeks a Facility Manager to serve US Embassy posts globally, supervising maintenance, renovations, and upgrades of building infrastructure. You will manage day-to-day operations, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and ensure safety and compliance with local and US standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in CM or Civil Eng, a Top-Secret clearance, and extensive project management experience (4+ years) with overseas post exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree.
• Active Top-Secret clearance to start work.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years demonstrated project management experience or 8 years FM experience, preferably overseas.
• Valid driver's license to operate mission vehicles.
• Good knowledge to identify safety hazards and ensure OSHA/local safety compliance.
• Experience with planning and overseeing projects from conception to execution.
• Knowledge of engineering technology and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to Post trades staff and contracted staff on construction, maintenance, and repairs.
• Coordinate post-executed alterations and repairs; prepare specs or drawings for new projects.
• Direct facilities engineering studies, planning, funding and management activities.
• Review designs and proposals; conduct feasibility studies for maintainability.
• Ensure actions align with senior leadership decisions; escalate concerns to COR.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on complex, high-priority projects with OBO/FAC.
• Coordinate architectural, civil/structural, mechanical, electrical disciplines.
• Support project planning, review and construction phases.
• Enlist staff as needed to meet objectives within timeframes.
• Develop and train FM personnel.
