Job summary
Motion Applied is seeking a Global Sales Manager to lead Business Development for the Electrification portfolio. You will engage with automotive, aerospace, marine and commercial vehicle clients, shaping opportunities and guiding responses to RFIs.
You will collaborate with UK engineering teams to help deliver annual and five-year financial goals, while expanding in new markets. The role involves travel worldwide and building a robust, high-value sales pipeline.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Business Development / Sales role within a technical industry is essential.
- Tier 1 Powertrain/inverter/motor products sales experience is desirable.
- Strong network within Automotive or Aerospace OEMs and Tier 1s is desirable.
- Proven ability to develop a qualified sales pipeline and close high value B2B deals.
- Experience with market intelligence and customer needs to support product roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and lead new business opportunities worldwide.
- Qualify opportunities and position Motion Applied to win.
- Respond to information/quotation requests and manage contracts.
- Build a robust sales pipeline and maintain CRM records.
- Collaborate with engineering to support financial and strategic goals.
